2007 Chevy Trailblazer

My truck is in the shop and I have a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer that enterprise car delivered to me at the service center. I was happy to get something with enough room in the back to hold a mountain bike.
The truck has nice lines and rides comfortably. Its not as sloppy as I expected but its certainly not as nimble as I would like it to be. The interior is roomy but lacks visual stimulation. It feels like the same Chevy blazer you got in 20 years ago. Not much as change on the interior from my perspective. I am sure a ton has changed but it looks the same to me. And I am not ragging on this truck because it is American made. BMW for the longest time has kept the same ugly interior / dashboard design. So back to the Chevy Trailblazer.
The steering wheel and seat are uncomfortable. The controls are easy to get to and fairly intuitive, with the exception of one major item. Your side view mirror adjustment. I looked and looked and looked. I drove the truck two times before I looked in the glove compartment for the owner manual. I quickly learned that this particular model does not have a side view mirror adjustment control. Now this is all I can focus on every time I get in this truck. It is two thousand and seven!!! Damn! I didn't think you could get a car or non commercial truck that had manually adjusting mirrors... Am I way off here? Does every manufacturer make a model or version with side view mirrors that must be adjusted manually?
So for me this is simply another example of a poorly built and poorly designed vehicle. Now if an engineer or Chevrolet executive wants to explain the situation, I am all ears. I am hopeful the money was used for some safety features and not to manage profit margins.
