Always wonder about the validity of these surveys.

Recently JD Powers reported Porsche at the top of the list. Over the last two months I’ve contacted 3 separate Porsche dealerships in Colorado and received the same non service (one dealership called even though I asked for email, promised to get the info requested, but never called or wrote again; the other two dealerships failed to respond to queries at all). It was such a pervasive experience that I decided to contact Porsche and let them know, only to go to their website, complete their feedback form, then get an “Error” message when I attempted to submit the response.

If this is the top of the list, the mind boggles at the ineptitude and disdain which must exist at the bottom.

As Deming, one of the fathers of quality improvement, was wont to say: In the end, the only thing unique you have to sell is service, and I don’t know that is ever captured in random surveys.
