Automobile tire rims are circular metal pieces residing on the inside of the tire that support the tire shape by acting as a force behind the rubber that buffers against imperfections in the road. For example, a basic discount rim and tire set with 15" wheel and tire packages may cost a buyer $600.00. This set consists of 4 lightweight racing tires, and 4 black designer rims. This price includes mounting the tire on the rim and balancing (necessary so the tires do not vibrate at certain speeds).

Rim tire sets may be small 15" sets or may be a larger size depending on the desired looks and the automobile. 19" rims with tire packages may cost approximately $2,000.00. Chrome rims and tire sets can be upwards of $3,000.00.

Custom rim and tire packages that contain inexact sizes or asymetrical front and back fittings have varying prices. These rims may cost anywhere between $1500.00 to $4,000.00 dollars. Rims with silver may cost, depending on the size of the rim, between $2,000 to $4,000.00 dollars.
